LIL MANTIS Program

(ages 4-7 years old)

At Dragon Mu Sool, we provide your child with a fun, safe, and supportive environment to grow and thrive. Our youth classes focus on building social skills, foundational movement, and effective communication through age-appropriate martial arts training.

In a world where kids often hear “no,” we emphasize positive reinforcement, encouragement, and redirection to guide students toward better choices and empower them with confidence.

This approach helps children develop focus, emotional resilience, and problem-solving skills that carry over into all areas of their lives. We also offer family discounts to make it easier for everyone to train together.

Our instructors work closely with students to help them form strong habits and healthy routines that last a lifetime. We encourage parent involvement, especially in the early stages of training, to help create consistency and reinforce growth both on and off the mat.

Tough Tigers

(ages 8- 12 years old)

As your child enters their pre-teen and teenage years, they begin to form a stronger sense of identity and often seek deeper understanding about themselves and the world around them. This stage can be filled with challenges as they navigate growing responsibilities, social pressures, and emotional changes.

One of the most difficult aspects for many teens is learning how to manage their bodies, emotions, and reactions in a variety of social situations, especially when faced with conflict or confrontation.

At Dragon Mu Sool, our structured and etiquette-based approach provides the discipline, self-awareness, and emotional control that young adults need to thrive. Through traditional martial arts training, students not only gain self-defense skills but also learn how to assess, de-escalate, or appropriately respond to challenging situations. As they progress, they develop a strong sense of responsibility, focus, and confidence. These are essential tools that support long-term success in every area of life.

Our adult program is designed to meet the demands of modern life. Whether you’re just starting out or have previous martial arts experience, in shape or working on it, our training is adaptable to fit your needs and goals.

You’ll learn practical skills that can be applied in everyday situations, improve your awareness, and build the confidence to handle challenges both physical and mental.

As you train, you’ll get stronger, more focused, and in better shape than ever before. At Dragon Mu Sool, we welcome adults from all backgrounds and walks of life. Our community is built on respect, inclusion, and personal growth, creating a space where everyone can thrive.

BLACK BELT CLUB

(ages 18+)

Black Belt Club (BBC) membership is an important milestone in a student’s martial arts journey. Prerequisites include being 18 years or older, earning a yellow belt, and being a current Dragon Mu Sool of Sylmar student or parent.

Joining the Black Belt Club means making a personal commitment to growth and leaving excuses behind. It represents a higher level of dedication, focus, and accountability.

BBC students are leaders within our school community. They take ownership of their actions, serve as role models to others, and support fellow students in a positive and respectful way. Participation in the Black Belt Club is both a privilege and a responsibility, offering advanced training and deeper involvement in the path toward black belt and beyond.
